Last updated: October 17, 2026 · Effective from: October 13, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Offer website and web application at offerbeta.com (the "Service"). The Service is operated by Kanan Shukurlu, a private individual based in Israel ("we", "us", "our").
Please read these Terms together with our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy and Refund Policy. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. What the Service is
Offer is an educational simulator for people preparing for product analyst jobs. It includes:
- Work week — a simulated first week at a fictional company: emails from colleagues, SQL tasks on a synthetic database, chats with AI-played colleagues and a mentor, a defense in front of a fictional CEO, and a week review.
- Mock interview — practice interview sections (product case, A/B testing, SQL, Python) with an AI-played interviewer, followed by a review.
- Rate the candidate — you score prepared, fictional interview transcripts and compare your scores with a reference.
- Practice — SQL, pandas and Python algorithm exercises checked automatically.
- Cheat sheet — short reference cards.
- Tailor a mock to a job posting — you paste the text of a job posting, and the Service suggests which practice sections and cases to focus on.
- Prepare for a job — you paste a job posting (or skip it and get a general Senior program), and the Service builds a prep plan: interview cases, a work week tuned to the posting, practice tasks and cheat-sheet cards. Its readiness report shows which requirements your results in the Service already back up. The report is a self-check in a simulator, not a certificate.
Everything inside the simulation is fictional. The company in the simulation ("Carrot" in the English version, «Морковка» in the Russian version), its employees, its customers and its data are invented. The database is generated by a program. Any resemblance to real companies or people is coincidental.
2. Who can use the Service
- You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.
- If you are under the age of majority where you live, you confirm that a parent or legal guardian has read and agreed to these Terms.
- You may not use the Service if you are barred from doing so under the laws that apply to you, including sanctions laws.
3. Guest mode and accounts
Guest mode. You can use the parts of the Service that are checked by code (for example, SQL and Python exercises and the cheat sheet) without an account. In guest mode your progress is stored only in your browser on your device. If you clear your browser data or switch devices, guest progress is lost. We cannot restore it.
Accounts. To use AI features and to keep your progress across devices, you need an account. You can sign in with Google, GitHub, or a one-time link sent to your email. Sign-in is provided through our authentication provider (see the Privacy Policy).
When you sign in for the first time on a device that already has guest progress, we will ask whether you want to copy that progress into your account. Nothing is copied without your confirmation.
You agree to:
- give us a working email address you control;
- keep access to your email and sign-in provider secure, because anyone who controls them can access your account;
- use your account yourself and not share it with others;
- tell us promptly at support@offerbeta.com if you think someone else has accessed your account.
4. AI features
Some features use a large language model provided by a third-party AI provider (currently Anthropic). They include the colleagues and mentor in Work week, the CEO defense, the interviewer in Mock interview, written reviews of your answers, AI notes on stories in your story bank, and reading job postings you paste.
- The characters are AI. Colleagues, the mentor, the CEO and interviewers in the Service are played by an AI system, not by people.
- AI can be wrong. AI replies and reviews may be inaccurate, incomplete or inconsistent. Do not rely on them as professional advice.
- What is sent to the AI provider. To produce a reply or a review, we send the AI provider your messages and answers in that feature, your code or query where it is part of the review, the task context, the in-game name you chose, a story from your story bank when you ask for AI notes on it, and, when AI reads a job posting you pasted, its text (with contacts masked). Without AI, a job posting is read on your device. Details are in the Privacy Policy.
- Fair use limits. AI features are expensive to run. We may set limits on how often you can use them (for example, a number of interviews or reviews per day) and change those limits. We will show the current limits in the Service.
- Availability. AI features depend on a third party and may be slow (a full review can take one to two minutes) or temporarily unavailable. Code-checked features keep working when AI is unavailable.
5. Scores, levels and "hiring decisions" are for practice only
The Service gives you scores, levels, rubric marks and simulated outcomes such as a "hiring decision" or a week score. Please understand what they are:
- They are training feedback. Scores are calculated by our code and, for written answers, by an AI system that marks your answer against our rubrics. Our code then combines the marks into a score and a simulated decision.
- They are not an assessment of your real abilities. They are not a certificate, a qualification, a reference, or a prediction of how a real employer will evaluate you.
- No guarantee of interviews or job offers. Using the Service does not guarantee that you will get an interview, pass one, or receive a job offer. Real interview processes differ between companies and interviewers.
- The readiness report is a self-check. In "Prepare for a job", the readiness report compares your results in the Service with the requirements of a posting. It is a self-check in a simulator, not a certificate, and it does not predict how that employer will assess you.
- No affiliation with employers. With a job posting you pasted, the interviewer may introduce itself as interviewing for that position. This is a simulation. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting for that employer, and the employer has no access to your results.
- Not professional advice. Nothing in the Service is career, legal, financial or other professional advice.
If you think a review is clearly wrong, you can tell us at support@offerbeta.com. We use such reports to improve the rubrics.
6. Your content
"Your content" means what you enter into the Service: answers, chat messages, SQL and Python code, notes, the in-game name you choose, and job posting text you paste.
- You keep ownership of your content.
- You give us permission to store, copy, process and display your content, and to send it to our service providers (including the AI provider), only as needed to run the Service for you, keep it secure, and comply with law. This permission ends when your content is deleted, except for copies we are required to keep by law or that remain in backups until they are overwritten (see the Privacy Policy for time limits).
- We do not use your content to train AI models, and our AI provider's terms do not allow it to use our API data to train its models.
- Aggregated statistics. We may use aggregated, de-identified statistics (for example, "criterion X is the one most often missed") to improve tasks and rubrics. These statistics do not identify you.
Please do not enter:
- sensitive personal data (for example, health, religion, political opinions, sexual orientation, government ID numbers, financial account details);
- personal data of other people (for example, names and contacts of recruiters from a job posting — remove them before pasting);
- confidential information of your current or former employer.
You are responsible for having the right to enter the content you enter.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service in breach of any law;
- use the Service for fraud or spam, or to infringe anyone's intellectual property or other rights;
- use AI features for anything other than practicing with the Service — for example, as a general-purpose chatbot, or to generate content unrelated to the task;
- try to make the AI produce hateful, harassing or sexually explicit content or malicious code, reveal anyone's personal data, or ignore its instructions and safeguards;
- try to get around usage limits, access controls or the guest/account separation, or to extract our prompts, rubrics or hidden reference answers by technical means;
- use bots, scripts or scrapers to access the Service, or copy our task banks, cases or rubrics in bulk;
- probe, scan or test the vulnerability of the Service without our prior agreement (to report a vulnerability, write to support@offerbeta.com);
- upload malware or anything that could damage the Service or other users;
- resell, sublicense or provide the Service to others as a service;
- impersonate anyone or misrepresent your affiliation;
- use the Service or its AI during a real interview or hiring test.
We may suspend or limit access (including AI features) if we reasonably believe you are breaking these rules or putting the Service or other users at risk. Where reasonable, we will tell you why.
Complaints about content. If you believe content in the Service, including AI replies, infringes your rights or is unlawful, email support@offerbeta.com: what it is, where you saw it and why. We review each complaint, remove or change content that breaks the law or these Terms, and tell you what we did.
8. Our content and intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, texts, cases, tasks, rubrics, reference solutions, synthetic data and cheat sheet, belongs to us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.
We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your own learning and job preparation, in line with these Terms. You may not copy, publish or commercially use our content beyond that without our written permission.
AI replies and reviews made for you in the Service are part of the Service: you may use them for your own learning and job preparation under this license.
Methods and frameworks taught in the Service (for example, metric trees or statistical tests) are widely used in the industry; this section does not claim them as ours.
Names of real companies and products that may appear in the Service, including in job postings you paste, belong to their owners. Their appearance does not mean any affiliation or endorsement.
The Service uses open-source software, which is provided under its own licenses.
Feedback. If you send us ideas or suggestions, we may use them without obligation to you.
9. Price, the Pro pass and refunds
9.1. Free and Pro. Everything checked by code (practice tasks, quizzes, SQL, the calculator, Rate the candidate, the cheat sheet) is free. A free account also gets a small number of trial AI sessions, shown in the Service. More AI is available with a Pro pass.
9.2. What the Pro pass is. A Pro pass is a one-time payment for Pro access for a fixed period: 30 days or 90 days, starting when the payment is confirmed. It does not renew automatically and is not a subscription — nothing is charged again unless you buy another pass yourself. If you buy a pass while one is active, the new days are added after the current end date. You can't add days while your Pro already runs more than a year ahead.
9.3. What Pro includes. Pro gives you the AI features of the Service within fair-use limits: an AI allowance per pass, used at your own pace — there is no daily count of mock interviews or work weeks. The main part covers about 40 full mock interviews for 30 days (about 100 for 90 days). After it, a reserve gives you 1 new AI mock interview a day and no new AI work weeks. When the reserve is used too, AI is done for this pass unless you add days (that adds allowance at once). Code-checked features keep working. The 1-a-day limit resets at 00:00 UTC (evening on the US East Coast). After a pass ends, you have 24 hours to finish what you started during it. Your progress stays in your free account.
9.4. Who sells the Pro pass. Dodo Payments (Dodo Payments, Inc. and its affiliates) is our online reseller and the Merchant of Record for all our orders: it sells you the Pro pass, takes the payment, calculates and collects sales tax or VAT, issues the receipt and processes refunds, under its Buyer Terms. Your receipt comes from Dodo Payments; your card statement shows DODOPAY… We never see your full card details.
9.5. Price and taxes. The price is shown in US dollars in the Service before you pay (currently $29 for 30 days and $59 for 90 days). Sales tax or VAT depends on where you are: Dodo Payments adds it as required and shows the final amount in the checkout before you pay. We may change prices for future purchases; a change never affects a pass you have already bought.
9.6. Promo codes. A promo code (for example, from a link) gives a discount on your first Pro purchase only. Accounts with the same email address (including variants with a +tag) count as one person. One code per purchase; codes have no cash value, can't be exchanged or combined, and may end at any time. The Service checks the code before you pay and tells you if it doesn't apply — then you can continue at the full price or not buy. If the same person uses a first-purchase discount twice, we may cancel that purchase and refund it through Dodo Payments.
9.7. Starting right away. Pro starts as soon as Dodo Payments confirms your payment: by buying, you ask for it to start now, before any statutory cooling-off period ends. If the law where you live gives you a right of withdrawal (for example, 14 days in the EU or the UK), Dodo Payments handles it as the seller, under its Buyer Terms. Our 7-day refund in 9.8 applies in addition: a full refund, however much you have used.
9.8. Refunds. The same rule in short is on our Refund Policy page.
- 7 days, no conditions. If you ask within 7 days of buying, you get a full refund — for any reason, however much of the pass you have used.
- How to ask. Email support@offerbeta.com with your receipt or your account email, and we refund it through Dodo Payments. The money goes back to the original payment method; the time it takes depends on your bank.
- What happens after a refund. The days and the AI included in the refunded pass are removed from your account. If you bought several passes, the others stay. Your progress stays in your free account.
- If AI didn't work because of us. If AI features were unavailable for a significant time because of a problem on our side, we add days to your pass. You can still ask for a refund within the 7 days.
- Your statutory rights. Nothing in this section limits your consumer rights under your country’s laws; our 7-day refund is in addition to them.
9.9. Payment disputes. If you dispute a Pro payment with your bank or card issuer (a chargeback), the Pro access from that payment is removed while the dispute is open. If the dispute is resolved in our favor, we restore it; its days count from the day we restore it. Please write to us first — most problems are solved faster that way.
9.10. Deleting your account. Deleting your account ends any active Pro pass. Deleting doesn't refund it by itself; you can still ask for a refund under 9.8. Payment records (amount, date, promo code and the Dodo Payments payment ID) are kept without your email or account, as described in the Privacy Policy.
You are never charged without your explicit agreement to the price and these payment terms.
10. Changes to the Service
The Service is under active development. We may add, change or remove features. If we remove a feature that is central to the Service or change the Service in a way that is materially worse for you, we will try to give you reasonable notice and a way to export your data.
11. Ending your use of the Service
- You can stop using the Service at any time and delete your account in the account settings or by writing to support@offerbeta.com. What happens to your data is described in the Privacy Policy.
- We may suspend or close your account if you seriously or repeatedly break these Terms, if required by law, or if we stop providing the Service. If we stop providing the Service, we will give you at least 30 days' notice and a way to export your data, unless that is not possible for legal or security reasons.
- Sections 5, 6 (aggregated statistics), 8, 12, 13 and 15 continue to apply after your use ends.
12. Disclaimers
We work to keep the Service accurate and available, but we provide it "as is" and "as available". To the extent permitted by law, we do not promise that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, that AI output or scores will be accurate, or that the Service will meet your goals.
If you are a consumer, you have legal rights in your country that these Terms cannot limit (for example, statutory rights regarding digital content and services in the EU and the UK). Nothing in these Terms affects those rights.
13. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law:
- we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of opportunity, income or employment, arising from your use of the Service, including from relying on scores, reviews or AI output;
- our total liability to you for all claims relating to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months before the claim and (b) USD 100.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law. If you are a consumer in the EU or the UK, we are responsible for foreseeable loss caused by our breach of these Terms or our failure to use reasonable care and skill.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms, for example when we add features or change prices or providers. If a change materially affects you, we will tell you in the Service or by email at least 30 days before it takes effect. If you do not agree, you can stop using the Service and delete your account before the change takes effect. Minor changes (such as fixing typos) may take effect immediately.
15. Law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel. The courts of Israel have jurisdiction, but if you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live and may bring a claim in your local courts.
Before going to court, please contact us at support@offerbeta.com — most issues can be resolved quickly.
16. General
- If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect.
- If we do not enforce a right immediately, we do not give it up.
- You may not transfer your rights under these Terms. We may transfer ours to a successor of the Service, provided your rights are not reduced; we will tell you if this happens.
- These Terms are available in English and Russian. If the two versions differ, the English version prevails, to the extent the mandatory consumer law that applies to you allows.
